LLW is my gauntlet. At first, when Lyra was afraid even to walk down the street, I celebrated any forward movement. It didn’t matter if she pulled; the main thing was, she moved at all! A year later, she was bold — on some streets — and pulled toward anything that caught her curiosity, or simply to go faster. Fair enough, but I’m a primate and hate being yanked. Margaret gave me a strategy last spring, and we made a lot of progress — but we’re not there yet. So I’m going to keep a “diary” here of my renewed attempt to improve LLW.
